Quick answers

Why didn’t I hear a reminder?

Check your selected days, hours, alert mode, and alarm or notification permission. Device volume and Focus settings can also affect what you hear. iOS controls final notification and Watch sound delivery.

How does an early check work?

You can check in 5, 10, or 15 minutes before the next scheduled hour, depending on your setting. One check covers that hour only. Repeated taps will not skip later hours.

Why did a notification appear after I checked early?

iOS can still deliver a repeating local notification already on its schedule. Your check remains logged for that hour. Alarm mode attempts to stop the current alarm when you check early.

How does the Watch companion work?

You can edit the schedule on your paired Watch. The iPhone applies those changes and sends the confirmed settings and check history back to the Watch. Check-in and snooze actions sync to the iPhone when connected. It can preview your selected sound, though iOS may use a different sound for a delivered Watch alert.

Can I use my own sound?

Import a sound on iPhone. CheckChime stores a converted copy locally and can transfer it to your paired Watch for preview. Actual alert sound availability depends on iOS and watchOS.

Where is my history?

Your check log appears in the iPhone app and can sync with your paired Watch. You can clear it from the iPhone app.

What can the widget do?

Add a CheckChime widget to the Home Screen or Lock Screen to see the next check. The Home Screen widget shows your next check and a Log Check button. A check outside the early window is saved as an extra log; it does not skip the next scheduled reminder. Snooze appears during an eligible check window.
